Our Weight Loss Programs

Women

Menopause, PCOS, and insulin resistance are all things that can happen as women age. When dealing with these conditions, it can be hard to combat symptoms or find the answers as to why they’re happening. It’s our duty at Medical Weight Loss & Hormone Clinic to understand these symptoms and create tailor-made solutions that speak to universal symptoms women face. We serve a diverse amount of women with a broad age range, so we are confident that our expertise can provide solutions for you.

Through our programs, we will address the symptoms from a physiological standpoint to gain a full understanding of any underlying causes and triggers. From that point, we will discuss hormone therapy, exercises, or other lifestyle changes that suit your needs. Our consistent research and vast expertise mean we understand female hormones on a deep level and are committed to changing women’s lives for the better.

Men

Although men do not experience the same type of menopause as women, they can still face similar symptoms and deal with plenty of unpleasant circumstances through andropause like reduced muscle strength, irritability, fatigue, and more. Of course, men can also get affected by insulin resistance and other conditions of the like. They need the care and support women facing these symptoms do, and we can give it to them.

As the years have passed, we have gained a thorough understanding of testosterone and other hormones unique to the male body. So, we are well-equipped to provide the solutions they need like testosterone replacement, lifestyle changes, and more. Our physiological approach gets to the root of the problem and enables us to work with all people to improve or dissolve their symptoms. We encourage men facing these symptoms to come forward and experience firsthand how we can change their lives.

Teens

Being a teenager is never easy. There are many societal pressures, changes, and other things that can add stress to a teen’s life. Adolescence is also a time when hormones are moving at various paces and causing the stressors of puberty. During this time, it is not uncommon for teenagers to experience PCOS, insulin resistance, low thyroid, or other issues. Sometimes, puberty kicks the symptoms they had underneath the surface into high gear, resulting in tremendous stress. However, we can help make the transition into adulthood easier.

We encourage guardians who know and love their teens to bring them to our clinic. We’ll observe their symptoms and define a plan that will set them up for success. With luck and perseverance, they will carry these lifestyle changes well into adulthood and for the rest of their lives. The result? Feeling the best they’ve ever felt and us creating a foundation that ensures these symptoms get handled before they become even more turbulent in adulthood.

What about the HCG diet?

HCG hormone via injection is a prevalent method that delivers significant results by enabling the hypothalamic gland to burn fat quicker. In most cases, it has worked for many individuals over the last sixty years it’s been in circulation. Still, there is plenty of evidence of the positive effects of the HCG diet.

But remember it is still vital to find out why you are gaining weight in the first place. There are many stories of people losing a lot of weight on the HCG and then gaining it all back again (and then some). This is why it is essential for us to look at any underlying conditions that can interfere with your progress in keeping the weight off. We also have an HCG follow-up program to assist you in not gaining the weight back again.

However, there are a few caveats. For one, there are cheaper synthetic hormones on the market that can cause your body to believe it is starving due to the quick and efficient loss of fat. Plus, only two major pharmaceutical companies produce it in the U.S. So, it’s important to make sure you are receiving FDA approved HCG from one of these two companies.

We’ll implement injections into your routine and coach you on how to maintain the effects of the HCG diet and weight loss!

Will my insurance cover a weight loss program?

I am sorry to say we do not take insurance. Insurance companies often dictate what labs we pull and prescriptions we write. Our doctors and practitioners are very capable of making those decisions in our patients’ behalf. Insurance companies are NOT looking out for your best interest. However, most prescriptions prescribed by our doctor are covered under most insurance plans.

This Is How A Physiological Approach Changes Patient Care

A “One size fits all” approach is not the best course of action for weight loss. At times, underlying conditions that do not get found through standard blood tests or other conventional measures are causing someone to struggle with weight loss. So, when that occurs, it’s advantageous to embrace a physiological approach and see what it offers you...
